BERNICIA CANDLES
I'm Caroline creator of Bernicia candles
The name “Bernicia” comes from the Anglo-Saxons who came and settled in this land under King Bernicia. This land is now known as Northumberland and we feel this perfectly represents our cottage business.
I travelled from lands afar (London) to settle in a small Northumberland village, with my husband and sons.
Being a creative person with a passion for making things, producing my own range of candles came very naturally to me. I feel passionately about the products I source for my candles and how I want my products to look. I use quality fragrances in all my products and always have my customers in mind.
Our ethos is to make people calm and happy. Our scents will make you feel at home wherever you are and even spark off a memory of a special time or place.
We take our inspiration for our fragrances from living amongst the most amazing natural, historic landscape and beautiful countryside & coastline.
Based in Wylam, Northumberland, our products are all lovingly hand poured in small batches.
We pride ourselves in sourcing the finest materials, to create a range of eco conscious and sustainable products which look stylish in your home, including scented candles and diffusers.
